Dr. Bronté was recently appointed by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen  Sebelius to serve on the National, Heart, Lung and Blood Advisory Board of the National Institutes of Health.

She serves as Chief Medical Officer of Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc. Dr. Bronté serves as Director of Sickle Cell Services at Memorial Regional Hospital Hollywood, FL.
